After many years exploring the UK through caravanning & camping, the Trayers have officially taken the plunge into the world of motorhomes with their very first campervan, a Warwick Duo from Auto-Sleepers. Speaking at the handover, they shared their excitement about this new chapter:
"This is our first motorhome, following years of caravanning and camping. We will be spending a lot of the summer sat in fields in the sunshine, listening to live music, dancing and of course enjoying the local beverages at the festivals we attend!"
Their new Auto-Sleeper promises not only greater freedom and comfort but also the perfect base for a lifestyle full of music and adventure. Both Mr & Mrs Trayer are enthusiastic performers in traditional Sea Shanty. They are active members of the Steam Town Shanty Crew, and Andrew also lends his voice to the Southampton Salty Sea Dogs.
As proud ‘Shanty Men’, the couple have mapped out a lively season of travelling across the UK to various festivals—particularly those steeped in seafaring heritage. With Cornwall being a frequent destination, their campervan will offer flexible and cosy accommodation close to the heart of the action.
“Being in the great outdoors is the greatest feeling,” they added. “The freedom afforded by the campervan will open the door to unlimited walks in our beautiful countryside.”
Whether it’s coastal walks, country lanes, or the rousing sound of shanty songs echoing across a festival field, the Trayers are ready to enjoy every moment. From everyone at Marquis, we wish them many miles of happiness and unforgettable memories.
