Aftersales Assistant / Service Advisor
Marquis have been in business for over 50 years and are the UK's largest motorhome & caravan dealer network offering sales and servicing from 12 branches nationwide.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and adaptable individual to join our Aftersales team at our busy Exeter branch who can also assist the Workshop, Accessory Shop and Service desk teams.
We are looking for a friendly, confident and capable individual who can deal with all kinds of customers under pressure and remain professional at all times.
Key Skill include: Excellent Communication Skills, Flexibility, Excellent Customer Care Skills, Good organisation and Administration Ability, Coupled with a Full UK Drivers Licence.
Key Objectives:
- Booking in service/warranty re-works via emails/telephone
- Updating service customers via telephone/emails
- Upselling workshop services at time of booking
- Assisting with warranty claims / processes
- Assisting with parts supply
- Assist with allocating jobs in the workshop
- Customer satisfaction focus
- Support for the onsite accessory shop during busy periods and cover of holidays (2-3 Saturdays per year, plus during normal working hours if neccessary)
- To ensure adequate cover is provided in the absence of Workshop/Bodyshop personnel and advise the Service Manager if this cannot be achieved
- Performing any other ad hock tasks, as required, which will help to contribute to the overall performance of your branch and or the Marquis Group
- As the role and team member progress, the selected candidate will look to complete motorhome and caravan training courses for warranty/parts.
- The end goal is to have a multi skilled member of the team who can step into any role at any given point to allow all departments to continue to run smoothly.
Person Specification:
- Languages - must be fluent in English and be able to write competently
- Excellent verbal communication skills - has the ability to convey information verbally to fellow team members and customers
- Stability under pressure - reacts well to change and stays positive despite setbacks
- Able to work as part of a team
- Able to adapt to the companies needs in the way we deliver our service
- Reliable and takes pride in the quality of their work
Hours of work are full time. Flexibility will be required around busier times of the year. Monday to Friday 08.30-17.00

Salary is £26k - £31K OTE and depending on experience.
